Chandler Hoffman, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist who provides the following services:
Divorce Consultation: Dr. Chandler Hoffman is an expert in the effects of divorce and parental separation on children and families. He knows and understands the family court system and the family law code so consulting with him at the earliest stages of your divorce will save you and your family, especially the children, from the most negative aspects of divorce. Before consulting a lawyer, consult with Dr. Hoffman. The process of divorce is overwhelming and you need an expert to coach you through it!
Collaborative Divorce: Dr. Hoffman acts as a Divorce Coach and a Child Specialist in the Collaborative DIvorce Process. As a member of the steering committee of the Collaborative Practice East Bay (CPEB), Dr. Hoffman is experienced working with the multidisciplinary team of professionals (collaborative attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial professionals) to assist clients in reaching agreements and making important decisions about their future. This process allows clients get the assistance they need in a coordinated way and avoid going to court!
Divorce Mediation: Dr. Hoffman has formed a multidiciplinary mediation team with an attorney/mediator Unmani Saravati to provide an affordable, nonadversarial and confidentail process that seeks to resolve all the divorce issues without going through a contested litigation. Through a series of meetings with the mediators, full or partial agreements are made to resolve the custody, legal and financial issues.
Psychotherpy for Couples, Men, Women, Children and Families: Dr. Hoffman provides assessment, support and consultaion as well ongoing psychotherapy.
Training: Dr. Hoffman provides trainings to organizations and groups of individuals to help them avoid the most negative aspects of divorce and separation.
